To edit a chart, open the chart on your desktop.
Once the chart is open, you can either right-click on the chart and select Edit from the context menu, use the File - Edit command from the main menu, or press Ctrl - E.
A data entry form pops up with all the current chart properties filled in and ready to be modified.
After modifying a chart, the changes will be automatically updated on the screen but not saved (as indicated by an asterisk on the chart's tab).
To save the changes, go into File > Save, and the asterisk will disappear.
Note: if you are editing and changing a Rave Chart that participates in composite charts (Connection, Cycle, Transit, etc.), then whatever data you save will affect these composites as well.
The Chart Notes feature is a helpful tool for editing charts, which you can interact with using the chart notes toolbar control.
Editing Chart Notes from the Toolbar
To view and edit the chart notes, click on the corresponding icon on the toolbar to open the text editor.
Any comments already existing for the chart will be displayed, and you can edit them on the spot.
Chart comments are automatically saved when the text editor is closed, and you do not need to use File- Save to persist them.
