The Transit Watch tool allows you to calculate and view a series of Transit Charts within a specific date range and at particular intervals. The generated charts can either be composite Transit charts of a particular person and the transit or simple transit charts.
Creating a Transit Watch
To create a Transit Watch use the Tools - Transit Watch command from the main menu.
The transit watch settings window will appear allowing you to specify the parameters for chart generation. These settings include:
Start Date & End Date
Use these entries to set the date range for this Transit Watch.
Frequency
This setting controls the intervals at which charts are calculated within the specified date range and you must choose one of the following options:
* Every 24 hours.
* Every 12 Hours.
* Every 6 hours.
* Every Gate Change of the Sun. In this option, a chart will be calculated for every instance of the Sun moving into a new Gate within the date range.
* Every Line Change of the Sun. In this option, a chart will be calculated for every instance of the Sun moving into a new Line within the date range.
* Every Gate Change of the Moon. In this option, a chart will be calculated for every instance of the Moon moving into a new Gate within the date range.
Selected Rave
An optional Rave Chart to compose with the Transit.
If the currently focused chart is a Rave Chart then its name will appear as the first option in the list (in the example above the John Doe chart). The Browse command will let you look through the Chart Library to locate the correct Rave Chart.
Display Name
A name for this Transit Watch.
Viewing a Transit Watch
When a Transit Watch has been created the first chart in the list is displayed and the Transit Watch toolbar appears. Using the Back/Forward icons on the Transit Watch toolbar you can navigate between the charts contained in this Transit Watch. You can also click the drop-down menu that displays the date to view a linear list of all the charts and select the chart you wish to view from that list.
Thumbnail View: Whenever a Transit Watch is loaded the thumbnail view mode icon appears in the view toolbar. Switching to a thumbnail view mode will allow you to view on the screen 4 charts at a time and make it easier to see the progression of changes in the bodygraph. Each chart has a black label containing its date with the active chart's label highlighted in green.
Editing, saving, opening & printing Transit Watch charts
To edit, save, print, or open a saved Transit Watch you can use the same procedures as you would for any other chart.
